LIFE AT LAW SCHOOL

Here’s what life in law school really looks like.

📚 The Syllabus is Endless. Literally.

There’s always something to read: case law, constitutional theory, or the 10th reminder about attendance. You’ll meet scholars like Hart, Dworkin, and Kelsen—but only in books (because they’re all dead and complicated).

⚖️ Moot Courts = No Sleep + Fake Confidence

You’ll wear a blazer, quote Article 14, and pray the judge doesn’t ask you anything beyond the preface of your compendium. It’s terrifying. It’s thrilling. It’s addictive.

☕ Internships: Coffee, Courts & Chaos

You’ll intern under advocates who either ghost you or make you carry their files like a glorified sherpa. But one fine day, you’ll draft a real notice—and feel like you just saved the Constitution.

😵‍💫 Burnouts & Breakthroughs

Some days, you’ll question all your life choices. Other days, you’ll argue brilliantly in class and feel like the future CJI. Both are valid.

🎯 The Takeaway?

Law school won’t make you a lawyer overnight. But it’ll teach you how to survive 100 tabs open, argue without crying, and maybe—just maybe—change the system.

And hey, if nothing else, you’ll always have an opinion at family dinners.
